Hi! I’m Caroline.
I’m a documentary film producer and freelance journalist for The New York Times, VICE, The Atlantic, and many other publications. I’m currently working with NBC News Studios, NBC’s premium documentary division, as a director of development finding and fielding new story ideas for major streaming platforms. Previously, I was the senior manager of development and communications at Exposure Labs, the Boulder-based film and impact studio behind Emmy-winning documentaries Chasing Ice (2012), Chasing Coral (2017) and The Social Dilemma (2020), and an associate producer for High Noon Entertainment, where I worked on new series development for HGTV, Animal Planet, and the Travel Channel.
I studied creative writing at Colorado College – where I graduated magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa – and have taken writing courses at Harvard and the University of Cambridge. I was born, raised and still live in Colorado, where I mountain bike, ski, follow my dog around, and find new ways to take people’s attention to the things that matter.
